Steamworks Arts Productions creating, producing and presenting original, imaginative and inspired contemporary performances and events that evoke multiple responses, reactions, and engagement with diverse audiences.
Steamworks is a vibrant and dynamic Western Australian based organization with contacts and projects currently underway across Australia. Diversity is at the core of the company’s activities which extend through the performing arts in the areas of creation, direction, consultancy, dramaturgy, project and production management.
Steamworks continues to initiate, promote and support WA creative talent through presenting artists and touring productions locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Teamwork is at the centre of everything we do
Steamworks has a successful record of creating partnerships with organisations including; The Australia Council, UWA Perth International Arts Festival, Strut WA, Ausdance WA, The Government of Western Australia through the Department of Culture and the Arts, Curtin, ECU & Murdoch Universities, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, DFAT, and various corporate partners, national agencies and organsiations on a range of projects and productions.
From 2004-2006 Steamworks were associate partners with Black Swan Theatre Company.
