The groove and intimacy between singer Juliana Areias and guitarist Jose Henrique embraces several shades of the Brazilian music spectrum. This duo come to Live@Woodside fresh from Kulcha’Äôs Brazilian Music Festival.

REmida, a unique non-profit organisation, helps reduce landfill waste by collecting waste materials from industries in Perth and making them available for creative reuse in the community. For Spring Fest their professional artists are working with crossarts and Matt McVeigh Design to provide free arts activities for kids. They will be generating unique creations on the theme of 'flight'.

As a composer, performer and arranger Cathie has received numerous awards and commissions, allowing her to explore music, theatre and dance from many ethnicities, electronic and electro-acoustic forms, jazz, classical, tango, gypsy, folk, rock and assorted experimental techniques. Cathie has been a resident performer for Live@Woodside 2009.
