Our Partners

Since 2009 Steamworks artistic director Sally Richardson is supported by Performing Lines WA through the MAPS Initiative funded by The Australia Council and DCA.


From 2008- 2010 Steamworks with corporate community partners Woodside created, produced and presented the outstanding Live@Woodside community program. This partnership with Woodside has supported a range of commissions, public events, performances, and exhibitions featuring the creative work of over 140 Western Australian artists and 35 companies. This successful relationship was acknowledged at the 2010 AbaF Awards as a finalist in the Best Partnership category.

Steamworks has a successful record of creating partnerships with organisations including;
The Australia Council, UWA Perth International Arts Festival, Strut WA, Ausdance WA, The Government of Western Australia through the Department of Culture and the Arts, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, DFAT, Lotterywest, and various corporate partners, national agencies and organisations on a range of projects and productions.

From 2004-2006 Steamworks were associate partners with Black Swan Theatre Company.
In 2010 Steamworks was an Industry Partner of Deckchair Theatre Company
