Clare Spillman

With over 20 years’ experience in producing and arts management, Clare Spillman is a highly skilled and adaptable creative producer who has delivered impactful, community- centred projects across Australia and the UK. Her producing career spans a wide range of companies and contexts—from leading roles with Mudlark Theatre Company (TheBox), to curating and delivering large-scale programs with Slipstream Circus (After Hours Cabaret), Big hART (Project O), and Ten Days on the Island (The Marvelous Corrick’s). Clare has also worked with Merrigong Theatre Company, Burnie Arts Council (Paper on Skin), and National Theatre of Parramatta, demonstrating a consistent ability to bring complex, multi-stakeholder projects to life. Her producing style combines strategic vision with hands-on coordination, from securing funding and managing budgets to artist support and stakeholder engagement. Passionate about inclusive and accessible storytelling, Clare builds strong relationships with artists and communities alike, ensuring each project is grounded, connected,and purpose driven.
