Yilin Kong is a Perth based artist graduating from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Arts in 2011. She has worked with Sue Peacock, Rachel Ogle, Alice Lee Holland, Rhiannon Newton, Brooke Leeder, Tyrone Robinson & with Danielle Micich though Force Majeure. She has performed with Buzz Dance Theatre, OCHRE Contemporary Dance Company, Barking Gecko Theatre Company, the West Australian Opera, Marrugeku, & Shaun Parker & Co.

Since graduating Yilin has created short works for In Short 2013, Short Cuts 2013, 2015, 2017 & for WAAPA. Yilin was the winner of the 2013 Western Australian dance award for Best Emerging Artist. She performed in Decadance with Strut Dance for Move Me Festival 2016 & undertook a Strut Seed Residency in 2017. In 2018/19 she will perform with Barking Gecko Theatre Company for Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth Festivals.
