Ashley de Prazer

Ashley de Prazer has been a freelance photographer & videographer specialising in dance and theatre for the past 25 years. He is represented in the Fuji ACMP National Collection who recognise the best Australian photographers & is represented in the Dance Collection of the National Library.

Ashley has exhibited extensively, including for the Australian Embassy in Tokyo. Ashley’s photographic documentation of Antony Gormley’s Inside Australia Sculpture Project has been published by Thames & Hudson in the UK.

With (Sally) Steamworks Arts Ashley has created the short films: The Drover’s Wives, Eliza, Standing Bird & Standing Bird 2 plus award winning video designs for The Drover’s Wives (Perth International Arts Festival) & Standing Bird 2 (WA Ausdance Awards, Blue Room Awards, Dance Australia Critics Choice)
