CATCH! written & directed by Steamworks Sally Richardson for MAXIMA Circus has just completed a fantastic season at the 2019 AWESOME Festival. A hit with families, young ones and schools, the team had a wonderful time sharing this fun-filled show with local audiences. Here’s what they had to say:

…The basketball heads comp was funny and inventive as the tennis-ball squids were delightful and touching. I always love AWESOME and your show tick all the boxes for childrens’ physical theatre.

As a grown up I loved the chance to see tennis racquets as birds and fish, cricket bats as telescopes and a myriad of ways to get up close and personal with a fitball. The music was cleverly matched to the action on stage adding to the suspension of reality. Congratulations to the team, this was a fun show with lessons for all on how to have fun.
