We are thrilled by the warm and enthusiastic response to our premiere of 歸屬 GUI SHU (belong) at Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. The live performance enjoyed a fantastic season, with the accompanying installation viewed by 1000's of patrons over its three month run.

...a beautiful work, that combines contemporary dance, with great lighting, haunting music, mesmerising AV, with amazing performances! a wondrous cross-cultural experience!

...yesterday I got treated to a master class at Gui Shu at PICA. For those who haven't seen this show go, it's a must. What an absolute clinic on how to present good dance work, just simply breathtaking all the way.

...As a woman, the work touched me so deeply that I was unable to stop my tears. I cried for the entire first half of the work. Amazing direction, vision, music, dance, visuals, artistry at its best! A must watch in my humble opinion!

And from Janet Lin, President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce, WA

...It was such a pleasure watching tonight's performance.I was enthralled by the emotions portrayed by the dancers and the images used brought me back to childhood. The addition of the karaoke really brought the piece to life (how good was the singing!!) and I was completely able to relate to the way the dancers captured the real life hustle and bustle of Taiwan; I think they depicted it perfectly, and the accompaniment of thecellist really brought the aesthetics of the piece together. The whole performance really captured the meaning of 歸屬. Well done to the talented team for showcasing this amazing performance from Taiwan to the people of Perth.
